Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of tutor-loop.com and the TutorLoop app (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

Accounts

• You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
• You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for keeping your password secure.
• You are responsible for activity that happens under your account.

Tutors

TutorLoop provides software tools. It is not a tutoring provider, employer, staffing agency or marketplace. Tutors are solely responsible for the tutoring services they provide, their rates, their qualifications, any required background checks or licenses, and their compliance with applicable laws and taxes. Tutors must have permission to enter the student information they add to the Service.

Parents

Parent accounts are free. Parents are responsible for choosing their tutor, and any agreement about sessions, rates, cancellations or refunds is between the parent and the tutor.

Subscriptions, trials and payments

• Tutor accounts include a 30-day free trial. After the trial, continued use requires a paid monthly subscription. The subscription tier is based on the number of students on the tutor's account and may change as that number changes.
• Subscriptions renew automatically until canceled. You can cancel at any time, effective at the end of the current billing period.
• We may change subscription prices with advance notice.
• Session payments from parents to tutors are processed by Stripe and are subject to Stripe's terms. TutorLoop is not a party to payments between parents and tutors.

Scholarship programs

TutorLoop can generate receipts formatted for programs such as Florida's Personalized Education Program (PEP). TutorLoop is not affiliated with Step Up For Students, the Florida Department of Education or any scholarship program. TutorLoop does not determine or verify eligibility and does not guarantee that any receipt, expense or provider will be accepted or reimbursed. Users are responsible for confirming eligibility and program requirements.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for anything unlawful, harmful or fraudulent.
• Harass or abuse other users, or upload content you don't have the right to share.
• Try to access accounts or data that aren't yours, or disrupt the Service.

Your content

You keep ownership of the content you add to the Service. You give TutorLoop permission to store, process and display that content only as needed to operate the Service for you and the people you share it with.

Early access

Features available before full launch may change, be incomplete or be removed. Joining the early access list does not guarantee access by a particular date.

Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, TutorLoop is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for disputes between tutors and parents. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid TutorLoop in the 12 months before the claim.

Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or close accounts that violate these Terms.

Changes

We may update these Terms. We'll update the date above and, for material changes, notify account holders. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
